 Please read the information below with details of the terms and conditions of our travel arrangements. Your acceptance constitutes an agreement between yourselves and the travel supplier.  Also please be aware that living standards and practices, as well as standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, sanitary services and the grading of accommodation which may differ from Canadian standards may be encountered during your travel.

RESERVATIONS: All space is on a first-come, first-served basis. We suggest you reserve as far in advance as possible, since accommodation and transportation on the popular dates and destinations sellout early. All reservations are considered confirmed once a timely deposit is received by the travel supplier. Travel suppliers reserve the right to cancel any reservation if deposit or final payment is late. In addition, there can  be a late booking fee of $25.00 or more charged if the departure falls within 30 days of booking.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS: An initial deposit of $350.00 per person may be required at time of booking. Additional deposits may be required by certain hotels and condominiums. Many Airlines also require "Non refundable" deposits of approximately $350.00 per person or full payment, to guarantee the airfare and reservations. You will be advised at time of booking of any additional deposits.
FINAL PAYMENT is usually due 45 days before departure, unless otherwise noted. If not received on time, it may be subject to additional charges for Express mail, Federal express, or any other additional fees incurred as a result of late payment, even if applied to a late booking. 
RESERVATION CHANGES: Due to expenses incurred in making changes, a $25.00 fee may be assessed for each change made up to 30 days before departure. Additional incurred expenses may be charged on each change made less than 30 days before departure. This includes changes made to passenger name, hotel, resort, departure date, air or ground transportation. Also, any changes to air portion may be subject to additional charges.
TOUR PRICES: Your travel supplier may reserve the right to pass on any increase received from hotels, Government, or other suppliers of services that are part of the tour package. In the event the increase is in excess of 15% (other than Government taxes) you can be entitled to cancel the travel arrangements and receive full refund. Every effort will be made to advise you of any price increase at least 15 days prior to departure.

HOTELS: Hotels are classified by the operator using government rating and industry standards, where available. Ultimate Destinations reserves the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher ratings. In such cases, however, amenities may not be the same. Single rooms, though assuring privacy, are generally smaller, while triple rooms usually consist of two beds plus a roll-away for the third person..

MEALS: Most European ski packages include buffet breakfast and dinner at the resort hotel as shown, unless otherwise specified.

TRANSFERS: Round-trip bus transfers or car rental from the nearest major destination airport to the ski resort may be included unless otherwise specified. Transfers can end at the resort and should not be construed as being a transfer with assistance and porterage included. Passengers not arriving on designated flights, and those passengers whose arrivals do not coincide with arranged transfers to the ski resort, because of airline delays, missed connections or flight cancellations, may have to arrange transfers to the ski resort at their own expense.
AIR TRANSPORTATION: All transatlantic travel from Canada is on designated airlines unless unforeseen reasons force the travel supplier to utilize any other carrier.
AIR FARES: Transatlantic and domestic airfares quoted may be based on special promotional airfares and can be subject to changes and government approval. Airfares are not guaranteed until paid in full and tickets issued. If airline or airfare changes occur; the most conveniently scheduled airline may be selected at the most economical airfare available. Check with your travel supplier for details on schedules, restrictions, penalties and/ or cancellation fees that may apply to a specific carrier. 
EXTENDED STAY: You may be able to extend your stay in Europe in accordance with the terms of the airfare used, provided that you make proper arrangements at time of booking. You may be able to extend the trip at your own expense for extra days at hotel, additional transportation, transfers to airport, etc.
SKI PASSES/EQUIPMENT RENTAL: Unless stated otherwise, ski passes may or not be included with the tour package. Different arrangements may be purchased directly at the resort, along with ski lessons and equipment rental. 
FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Most airlines used to allow two pieces of checked baggage maximum combined dimensions of both not to exceed 107" but neither bag may exceed 62" or 50 lbs. and a carry on bag not exceeding 43" could be stowed under your seat. Ski equipment consisting of one pair of skis, poles and boots is usually considered as one piece of checked baggage. The use of a ski bag is recommended. Extra baggage charges, especially for skis,  vary by airline. Check with the applicable carrier for their baggage allowance policies and special and/or excess baggage charges.


Up to 45 days before departure - Full refund less deposit of $500.00 per person*

44 to 22 days before departure - 50% of cost refundable*.

21 days or less before departure - No refund*.

Airfares: In addition to land arrangement cancellations, airfares are usually subject to cancellation fees.

Check with the airline involved for applicable penalties and/or restrictions.


Cancellation fees differ with the various suppliers (hotels, tour operator, airlines, ski areas and bus or car rental companies) involved. Whatever penalties these suppliers impose could be applied to your invoice.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: For travel to Italy or Austria, Canadian citizens require a passport valid for at least three months beyond the expected return date from their visit.  Visas are not required for tourist or short-term professional or business visits.  Additional information is available at www.voyage.gc.ca  and clicking on the section under "Travel Essentials" - "Before You Go".  Non Canadian citizens should consult the consulate of their intended destination countries for their document requirements.
*INSURANCE: Health. accident, luggage and trip interruption/cancellation insurance are seldom included and strongly recommended Please consult Ultimate Destinations or your insurance company or other insurance provider to ensure adequate coverage.

PACKING SUGGESTIONS: While there is no set rule on what to take for skiing, do not forget to bring apres-ski boots, gloves/mittens, thermal underwear, goggles, sun glasses and sun screen lotions in addition to your warm ski clothing. Apres-ski activities are a big part of the ski scene  and in some first class and deluxe hotels, dining is more formal and some hotels may even require a jacket and tie for men. Women should dress accordingly.

USUALLY NOT INCLUDED: Local airport transportation, some  airport taxes, passport and visa fees, medical and cancellation insurance, tips to motor coach drivers, porterage, phone calls, laundry service and items of a personal nature, meals or other services not specifically shown as included in package features.

AIRLINE NON RESPONSIBILITY: The carriers concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or other event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. The airline passenger tickets, when issued, shall be the sole contract between airline and buyer/ passenger of these tickets.
RESPONSIBILITY: In Ontario all bookings should be made with suppliers with valid registrations with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario. Ultimate Destination Inc. acts only as an adviser providing information and recommendations for the passenqer in reqards to travel by rail, motorcoach, rental car, private car, aircraft, boat or any other conveyance and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. Ultimate Destination Inc. cannot be held liable for loss or consequences due to delay, schedule changes or any cause or irregularity occasioned by cancellation, overbooking, or strikes of airline(s), train(s), hotel(s), car rental company(ies) or ground service operators, in addition to "force majeure", acts of God, etc. Under these circumstances, no portion of land arrangement is usually refunded by the travel supplier.  Nor shall Ultimate Destination Inc, the travel supplier  or the airlines concerned be liable for the lack of snow or non operation of ski lifts, closure of access routes to or from resort(s) due to weather conditions, nor are they liable for the late arrival of passengers at airports or at hotels due to bad weather, nor are they liable for refunds of unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such late arrivals.
