To assist you to plan your ski trip to Italy, here are prices for some of my favorite Ski Resorts in the Alps in Italy.

There are also great ski areas in the Alps in Austria, France and Switzerland. I have skied and visited quite a few of them and liked every one, (There are so many that no one could ever ski all of them) and would not hesititate to recommend them, depending on your own personal tastes and requirements.

A ski trip to the Alps in Europe can actually be less expensive than a trip to western Canada and to western U.S.A.  But European ski resorts are so popular they can be sold out early (because Europeans get a lot more holiday and vacation time than we do in Canada and United States), So it's best to book as soon as possible.

Prices shown are based on double occupancy priced in Canadian dollars and include:

bullet

Return Air Fare from Toronto (Prices from other cities available on request).

bullet

7-night's Hotel Accommodation, including Breakfast and Dinner at H/B hotels or only Breakfast at B/B hotels.

bullet

Hotel Service charges.

bullet

Tips. (They're included in the prices in Italy and shared by the staff.)

bullet

7 day car rental or bus transfers.

bullet

6 day adult ski pass. (Seniors, children's and other discounts may be available)

bullet

Depart Friday or Saturday suppertime, return Saturday or Sunday afternoon (or you can stay longer at the resort, other resorts or other European destinations).

Not included: Lunches, airport taxes and surcharges. (Taxes and surcharges change so often, contact us for up-to-date information.) Additional cost for single room if available (book early to avoid disappointment) can be as low as 300 extra for the 7-day period, depending on the class of hotel and type of single rooms. etc.

My favorite SKI AREAS in the Italian Alps:

Val di Fassa, in the Dolomites,

With the most skiing you will find anywhere in the world.  Ski every day for weeks and never ski the same run twice. All cruising on marked groomed runs, 85% with snow making.

Cervinia (Breuil) in Val d'Aosta, under the Matterhorn.

Ski to Zermatt Switzerland & back - The highest ski area in the Alps. Ski the same slopes with the folks from St. Moritz Switzerland (which is a lot more expensive and the food in Cervinia is better). Lots of snow to the end of April

Above listings are for only a few of the hotels we are familiar with at our favorite resorts in Italy .

6-day ski rental prices range from about 75 for basic carving skis, to about 100 for top of the line.

6-day ski boot rentals start at about  45.

Contact us for more information on rates for fares, packages, transportation and/or accommodation at the above or other resorts, hotels or destinations.  We have not included the rates for some of the excellent, (but more expensive) 5-star hotels in Cortina, like the Miramonti or Cristallo or the Hermitage in Cervinia. We can also arrange private transfers and/or guides if desired. Call us and we can check on availability and prices.
